Functional Statement

1. implement relevant provisions of national policies in matters of improving health and sanitation, peace and order and other economic development programs.

Objectives

1. To attain a degree of efficiency in the exercise of the functions relative to the general supervision over all administrative affairs in the municipality.

Functional Statement

1. Provide effective management role in the conduct of legislative sessions, meetings, hearings and consultations in relation to the enactment of resolutions/ordinances geared towards local socio economic development programs.

2. Approve ordinances and pass resolutions necessary for an efficient and effective municipal government.

3. Review all ordinances approved by the Sangguniang Pambarangay and executive orders issued by Punong Barangay to determine whether there are within the scope of the prescribed powers of the Sanggunian of the Punong Barangay.

 

Objectives

1. To provide supervisory guidance to Sanggunian in the adoption of legislative measures involving public policy.

2. To attain the level of formulation of the local policies, enactment of ordinances and resolutions as may be necessary to affect the delivery of services, facilities implementation of various government programs and in the discharge of the responsibilities conferred it by law.

3. To facilitate passage of legislative sanction on the implementation of priority programs which aim to promote the property and the general welfare of the constituents.

4. To initiate policies and code that may provide leverage in the intensification of the revenue collections, increase people’s participation and support thereof in order to attain the financial viability of the municipality.
