  • Functional Statement

    To take the lead role and be responsible for human resource management in the agency and overseeing personnel actions in accordance with the constitutional provisions on civil service, pertinent laws, rules and regulations, including such policies, guidelines and standards by Civil Service Commission.
  • Objectives

    To properly implement human resource programs and activities taking into consideration the priority needs of the LGU, thus to improve the personnel capability on efficiency, effectiveness, dynamism and public accountability subject to the prescribed by the CSC.

The good housekeeping seal is given to LGUs that excelled in the areas of planning, budgeting, revenue, mobilization, financial management, budget execution, procurement and resource mobilization. It also recognizes local governments that accord primacy to the principles of transparency and accountability. Recipients of the award also received one million pesos each from the DILG's Performance Challenge Fund (PCF).
