Functional Statement1. Implement the programs and projects that have to do with all Civil registration.
2. Transcribe and enter immediately upon receipt all registrable documents and judicial decree affecting the civil status of a person in the appropriate civil registry books.
3. Transmit to the Office of the Civil Registrar General within the prescribed period, duplicate copies of registered documents.
Objectives1. To facilitate the implementation of all civil registry programs.
2. To ensure the completeness of records and keep and preserved in a secure place all registrable documents required by law.
