  • Functional Statement

    1. Attend meetings of the Sanggunian and keep a journal of its proceedings.

    2. Provide staff assistance to the Sangguniang Bayan in the preparation, enactment and enforcement of legislative orders, measures, resolutions and ordinances for public welfare.

    3. Record in a book, kept for the purpose, all ordinances and resolutions enacted or adopted by the Sanggunian with the date of passage and publication thereof.

    4. Consolidate and update the codification, revision and modification of Modification Ordinances.
  • Objectives

    1. To improve the quality of staff assisting on local legislation.

    2. To ensure the quality of legislative output on every project and activity of the Sanggunian.

    3. To further develop the skills and talents of Sanggunian personnel on research, studies, evaluation deemed essential to the improvement of local legislative services.
